Uitnacht Arnhem
Concept
To capture the explosive energy of this event, we developed a campaign that felt just as lively, playful, and layered as the night itself. The central visual featured a 3D layer of digitally rendered bubbles, full of color and movement. These bubbles symbolize the overflowing cultural offerings of the city and the way art can reflect, distort, and reveal new ways of seeing the world.
The fluid, dynamic character of the bubbles contrasts with the strong, modern typography—emphasizing the balance between spontaneity and structure that defines the Uitnacht experience.
What we Made
From the very beginning, we knew this campaign had to feel alive—just like the night itself. We started with the heart of the visual identity: a modern poster layered with digital, 3D bubbles. These bubbles weren’t just decoration—they moved, shimmered, and interacted with the typography as if they had a mind of their own. Their fluidity captured the spontaneity of the festival, while the strong, structured typeface anchored it all, grounding the chaos in clarity.
But one poster was just the beginning. As the city prepared to light up with music, art, and movement, so did the campaign. Flags waved over Arnhem’s streets, catching the eye of curious passersby. Program booklets became essential companions, guiding people from surprise dance performances to hidden music gems. We added an unexpected twist: scratch cards that invited people to win cultural prizes—offering a sense of discovery before the night even began.
Online, the campaign continued to bubble and breathe. We created animated banners and digital branding elements, bringing the lively mood of Uitnacht into every corner of the digital world. Each visual echoed the playful energy of the festival—vivid, free-flowing, and full of promise.
In the end, everything worked together to do what the best nights out always do: draw you in, keep you moving, and leave you wanting more.
Sparkles
Uitnacht Arnhem was a night to remember—vibrant, surprising, and filled with shared cultural moments. We’re proud that our campaign translated this feeling into a bold and festive visual identity.
And as for next year? We’re already dusting off our dancing shoes.
