Concept
Robbert Das’s work is prominently featured in the museum, where one dedicated space showcases his extraordinary drawings. The spatial design of the exhibition is a collaboration with Jasper van Goor. A soft pastel color palette reflects the style of Robbert Das, making his work fit seamlessly into the exhibition design. Das’s work has mainly been published in magazines, which is the reason why a magazine-like design was selected as the central design choice for this exhibition.

What we have created
To give the graphic design a magazine-like feel, we have combined serif and sans-serif fonts while adding engaging details that resonate with the content. The exhibition is aptly subtitled “Water Sports in Perspective,” capturing the depth and craftsmanship in Das’s work, characterized by his exceptional skill in creating perspective and intricate handmade details.

Sparkles

Robbert Das truly has a good taste for colors and the vibrant colors we used were directly inspired by research into his work.
