Concept
Das his work is prominently featured in the museum, where one dedicated space showcases his extraordinary drawings. Collaborating with Jasper van Goor for the spatial design of this exhibition, I created a pastel color palette that reflects Robbert’s colorful style.

What we made

To give the graphic design a magazine-like feel, I combined serif and sans-serif fonts while adding engaging details that resonate with the content, as most of Robbert Das’s illustrations have appeared in magazines. The exhibition is aptly subtitled “Water Sports in Perspective,” capturing the depth and craftsmanship in Das’s work, characterized by his exceptional skill in creating perspective and intricate handmade details.

Sparkles

The exhibition “Robbert Das: Watersport in Perspective” (23 May – 22 October 2023), offering a limited time to explore the pastel-loving world of this inspiring illustrator! We chose orange and light blue as the main colors for the project, complemented by additional shades of blue. Robbert Das truly has a good taste for colors! The vibrant colors we used were inspired by my research into his work, and I’m super happy with the sparkling result!
